Successful completion of this qualification will satisfy police licensing requirements for a combined Security Officer and or Crowd Control license. The aim of the Certificate II course is to develop a student’s proficiency in providing Operational Security Services including Crowd Control and Security Guarding duties. The course is presented via a combination of structured tutorials, workshops, case studies, video, practical assignments and workplace application. Individual and group work activities and assessment activities are conducted throughout the course. This qualification is delivered over a period of 80 hours student – trainer contact as recently implemented by the WA Police Licensing, Security and Probity.

There are no formal prerequisites required for CPP20212 – CERTIFICATE II IN SECURITY OPERATIONS; however language literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
