Hltaid001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Cpr
Welcome and thank you for your interest in taking a step in the chain of emergency Pre-hospital care, whether it’s to meet the requirements of your Employment or your yearly refresher as recommended by the A.R.C. (Australian Resus Council).
This course is aimed to show you or refresh the latest techniques and skills as per the latest A.R.C. guidelines and recommendations.
This course is designed for all ages as it outlines the principles of CPR (cardio pulmonary Resuscitation on neonates, infants and adults.
We will show you and guide you through the process of dealing with a collapsed and lifeless casualty, assessment, treatment, management and hand over to the ambulance.
No longer do you have to be a bystander waiting in anguished but you can be a hero and save a life.
On successful completion of this qualification *HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation you will satisfy the requirement of your employer as more industries is becoming a requirement or for your own peace of mind that you meet the requirements in line with the A.R.C.

This is a blended course presented and delivered via combination of structured tutorial workshop, scenarios, practical and hand on, up to date training. In our state of the art AV training facility or at your place of business just talk to our friendly staff to arrange for us to come to you.
This qualification is delivered over a 4-5 hour period.
All trainers and assessors are recognised prehospital care and emergency experts with over 20 years’ experience, holding relevant experience and training. They include security industry specialists, former and current serving police officers, military personnel and emergency response and medical specialists.
There are no formal prerequisites or age requirements for HLTAID003 - Provide first aid or HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
However basic language and literacy and numeracy skills are essential.Enroll Now
- State/Territory regulations, first aid codes of practice and workplace procedures including:
- ARC Guidelines relevant to the provision of CPR
- safe work practices to minimise risks and potential hazards
- infection control principles and procedures, including use of standard precautions
- appropriate use of an AED
- chain of survival
- Standard precautions of dealing with risks and hazards of a scene.
- duty of care requirements
- respectful behaviour towards a casualty
- own skills and limitations
There are no formal career outcomes for this qualification however it is becoming a requirement in most work places for employees to have at least CPR. Which is step in the prehospital emergency care chain of survival.
